This is a professional community and network exclusively for Transracial Adoptees and Foster Care Alumni. Our professionals range from executives and founders, to mid-level career, to just entering the workforce, and students about to enter the workforce.

To keep our programming robust and valuable for this community, we may offer resources from, or have guest speakers on occasion who are domestic Adoptees or Intercountry Adoptees, but are not Transracial Adoptees. 

There will be no one who enters this community for those with our lived experience who do not share our lived experience. This is to help keep our [Network] and community safe and to help ensure an authentic environment of belonging. 

Currently, we are a US-based community and company. We absolutely welcome in international individuals with our shared lived experience but our resources, offerings, and focus will be US-based until we are able to grow and operate internationally. 

The Inclusion Initiative [Network] provides professional visibility, inclusion, and belonging for Transracial Adoptees and Foster Care Alumni across many sectors and professions.

The goal is to close the opportunity gap many of us experience in the workplace and in our careers. 

Our community aims to support, elevate, and help each other with opportunities to better our professional, and personal, lives. Having a specific network and community with those who share our lived experience fosters a unique connection which leads to deeper connections, meaningful relationships, and shared understanding of our opportunity gap that can be hard to understand if you are not a Transracial Adoptee and/or a Foster Care Alumni.

• Virtual and (future) in-person events that are exclusive for members with some amazing Transracial Adoptees and Foster Care Alumni

• Future visibility to companies, employers, and investors who want to hire and partner with our community

Right now, membership is in Beta and is not open to the public. The membership price will be announced after the Beta period later in 2024, but the goal is to never have cost be a barrier to entry for our community, so there will be scholarships and grants available for members who would like that option.
